4. Forum

In this first section, the "News" forum with the last updates is shown. This is a mandatory forum, every student gets all emails with the comments or the topics posted. You can also create other general or specific forums for each topic. This is the editing view when creating a forum:

Please note the options available for subscription: you have four possibilities (optional, forced, auto subscription or subscription disabled):

• “Optional subscription”: Students decide if they want to subscribe a forum or not.
• “Forced subscription”: every student of the course is subscribed and gets all alerts via email (comments and new topics published in the forum)
• “Auto subscription”: every student is subscribed by default, however students can choose if they want to disable this option.
• “Subscription disabled”: No subscription is available. No update emails with the forum publications will be received.
